Anonymous, August 2017

This villa and surrounding area are incredible. The terrace, pool and hammock are breathtaking. Although we didn't meet Pambos, we did meet his brother and father, who couldn't have made us more welcome. Pambos also kept in touch throughout. The village is charming, and also driving to and from the villa provided some tremendous views. Please also visit the coffee shop in the village, the locals make you feel so welcome. Thank you Pambos, your villa is exceptional. Alec C. , Augast 2017
A nice and authentic place far in the mountain!
Dont forget to bring food with you because breakfast is not included and the closest supermarket is at 10 km! Its a very nice house in the middle of nowhere. The owners were really kind to us and drove us to the place. Its a mountainous place, so you should not be afraid of the mountain if you want to reach the house. Marion Sabrie, May 2016
We had a wonderful visit to Cyprus stying at Piakopos House. A very friendly greeting from the owner, Pambos and his father, who were very thoughtful and helpful during our stay. Piskopos House is a beautiful family home in a tranquil, peaceful setting in the hills, 11km from Pafos. Lots of places to visit in the locality, coast and inland. Wonderful warm weather and the private swimming pool was a real bonus. A great location for us to totally relax.John & Jacky Crew John Crew, May 2016
If you've already booked this villa you will be aware that the owner (Pambos) is a true gentleman who is only too pleased to offer a friendly Cypriot experience (and Cyprus does friendly rather well). The property is extremely well-appointed although tucked away on a concrete track - our little Kia Piccanto Hire Car coped well with it and the track is never dangerous - it's mostly very wide with frequent passing places. That adds to the seclusion. The villa is very well appointed and everything is good quality and very well maintained. Why have 35 other reviewers also given it five stars - because it really is that EXCELLENT. Note that the wifi is excellent (better than UK superfast broadband), there's a strong mobile phone signal and just one BBC V channel (BBC World) out of about 300 others. Every word describing this property is completely true. All I can say is thank you Pambos for a wonderful, restful stay and for providing such a beautiful and stunning holiday experience. We had a great time in winter. The houseowner Pambos was very friendly and helpful. The house was amazing, a nicely renovated classic stone house. In the evening we sat at the terrace with a heather. It was a little cold outside. We enjoyed the local pub also a lot. We were very lucky that the local churchsinger enjoyed singing sponetanously Cypriotic songs. Yolanda & Hans, March 2011
Getting away from it all! We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Pambos, the owner, did a great job in making us feel at home right from the start! The house itself is located at the end of a steep road, near the edge of a small village. The pictures just do not do it enough justice, when we arrived there were flowers everywhere. And besides completely unobstructed views, you will enjoy lots of privacy at the pool. And even though it feels miles away, Paphos is only 15 minutes by car. The interior has lots of traditional details. We had a great stay at the house! An excellent way to see the real Cyprus, without giving up any comfort. My wife and I stayed for two weeks in the house in August/September 2008. We were there just as a couple, and we're both in our 60's, but we found it just as good for our requirements as the couples with children have done. It's very comfortable, and has everything you need. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the terrace - both have magnificent views, while at the same time giving a feeling of complete privacy. Friends who came up from the coast for supper also found it delightful. We enjoyed visiting the ancient sites in Paphos (especially the wonderful mosaics) and can also recommend the Anglican church (right by St Paul's pillar, services at 8.30 and 6). We also recommend the restaurant and beach at Ttakkas Bay (off the Lakki-Baths of Aphrodite road) and the route to the Troodos mountains via the track towards Nata, turning left on to the road towards Panagia Chrysorrogiatissa. This was a really great place to stay. The Villa was well appointed and spacious. The pool was private and not overlooked. Hopefully looking to go again next year! Sarina, Italy
